Disc 1: Gentle Yoga for Seniors and Beginners A very gentle flow, using modifications in a chair, seated and lying poses, and final relaxation. Disc 2: Yoga for Advanced Beginners and Intermediates A basic Hatha Flow class that includes key seated, lying and standing poses, balances and final relaxation. Modifications are given for students to find their own level. Disc 3: Yoga for an Advancing Practice This DVD introduces Surya Namaskar, Sun Salutations, more advanced variations of asanas introduced in Disc 2, as well as new asanas, including standing balances and inversions before final relaxation. Disc 4: Advanced Yoga Flow for Strength and Flexibility This challenging yoga flow develops cardio-vascular fitness, upper body, lower body and core strength, flexibility and balance. It requires previous yoga experience. It includes 2 variations of Surya Namaskar, abdominal work, standing poses for power and balance, arm balances, inversions, backbends, and final relaxation. The practice of yoga quiets the mind and revitalizes the physical body. This DVD will guide you into a practice with controlled flowing movements and awareness of the breath that tones, stretches and strengthens the whole body and leaves you feeling calm and relaxed.
